OTTAWA, ON, April 23, 2026 – CanVECTOR, the Canadian Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Research Network, is pleased to announce the launch of its CanVECTOR 2026 Studentship Awards.
The purpose of the Research Training Awards (Studentship stream) is to provide financial support for highly qualified, promising graduate students to allow them to pursue research training in thromboembolism at a Canadian Centre.
CanVECTOR Graduate Studentships offer support to candidates who are enrolled in an MSc or PhD program and are interested in conducting venous thromboembolism (VTE)-focused research.
Competition Details
- Studentship winners may receive a maximum of $10,000 (CAD).
- Graduate Studentships offer support to candidates who are enrolled in an MSc or PhD program and are interested in conducting VTE-focused research.
- Administered by the Basic Science & Translational Research platform.
- Application deadline: Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
