CanVECTOR is a national venous thromboembolism (VTE) research network. Our mission is to reduce the health, social, and economic impact of venous thromboembolism through innovative research, training, collaboration, and patient‑centered solutions that benefit individuals, families, and communities.

Members

The CanVECTOR community brings together researchers, clinicians, trainees, and research professionals from across Canada who are engaged in VTE research, training, and knowledge translation. Members contribute expertise spanning clinical trials, basic science, health services research, and knowledge mobilization.

Patient partners play an essential role across our network. They contribute their lived experience to research teams, help shape study priorities, and guide the overall direction of our activities to ensure our work remains meaningful, relevant, and patient‑centered.

CanVECTOR works closely with international VTE researchers through the INVENT‑VTE network, expanding opportunities for global collaboration and impact.
