OTTAWA, ON, June 3, 2026 – The CanVECTOR Network is officially accepting submissions for its Scientific Abstract Competition ahead of this year’s Annual Conference.
This annual competition offers a fantastic platform for researchers, clinicians, and trainees across Canada to showcase their latest work, gain visibility within the scientific community, and contribute to the global advancement of thrombosis research.

Selected abstracts will receive high-profile visibility within the network:

Conference Presentation: Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to present their research directly at the CanVECTOR Annual Conference.

Official Publication: In addition to presenting, selected abstracts will be published in the prestigious peer-reviewed journal, Thrombosis Research.
Submission Guidelines & Eligibility
To ensure your submission is considered, please review the following criteria:

Membership & Registration: The presenting author must be an active CanVECTOR member and registered to attend the upcoming Annual Conference.

Format: Submissions must be a maximum of 500 words and strictly adhere to the guidelines outlined in the official instructions document.

Important Deadline
All entries must be fully completed and submitted via the online form by Friday, July 10, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. ET. Late submissions will not be accepted.
